Worst app ever

Been trying to use this app for over a year! When ever there is an update, it Loses my information to login. Keep trying to get it to work, horrible to work with for so little usage. Easier to just go to website.

Dont use it

It does not work how it should be as it says. I cannot stand this primitive app. The developer must work hard. It is not safe at all.

Wonky not dependable

This app overall performance is horrible. I like the concept of being able to track my records, appointments, and medications. When I try to add my physicians I get error messages telling me my information is incorrect. It takes me multiple steps to actually log into the app. Im waiting for resolution on some trouble tickets I have submitted. I do not recommend this app. Given that I only see a few reviews I would guess not many access the app. Ive been using the app since the instituted it in the NHRS, it has never worked great. Kept thinking they would update the app work out the flaws but two/three years later seems not.

chump

I suspected this would be a waste of time. But I decided to bang my head against the wall nonetheless. So, I signed up (I think) and now there’s no guidance on how to access my info. But to be sure I will be bombarded with exciting emails boasting of all the great stuff I can do with this app.

Password disaster u-turn

I have had an issue with the password retrieval for almost 3 weeks, the link kept saying expired and when I tried to update it online, I wasnt able to save it. The reason to retrieve my password was because my doctors group screwed up my account by messing up the doctor, they changed it to referral stating that I shouldnt be using this app to get in touch with my doctor. But in reality up until they changed it, I would ask a question and it would be emailed to my childs doctor, and she would respond to it within 2-3 hours. It was working perfectly. Watch out Childrens Medical Group, I hope you learned your lesson not to screw up patients accounts! Thank you Healow, your experts solved my problem. Im back on! My notes are gone but I can see the doctors notes. Thank you for your PATIENCE! And for taking care of the password problem.

Works well enough for me

I havent had the password issues other users have brought up. I popped up once and I just sat on hold with Dr office provider for 20 minutes to get it fixed. Overall, I get a much faster response from my Dr and/or his nurse than I do from calling. I do have to be VERY clear on my questions or I sometimes get weird responses but that is true of all written communication. The app does collect what meds I take well in additional to collecting all lab results. I had to go to the ER 4 weeks ago (I was in terrible pain from chronic Pancreatitis) and I simply logged in this app and gave it to the nurse and Doctor and they got my meds, my history and any recent labs - boom - done! Then they can get to treating you!!!!

Crapware

There are so many ways this app gets in your way. It pains me to think I need to get back home to my computer in order to do simple things that Id like to do from my phone. I mean, wouldnt it be nice to read the entire message my doctor sent me, or to be able to read the last two lines of the message Im sending him. Some thought went into the design of this app, but it seems very design-by-committee. In particular, the button that generates a QR code with some kind of information is baffling. What information is in that code? I have no idea. ***I cant scan it from my phone when its on my phone.***

Awesome to get my records electronically.

Wow, I guess I am in the minority group of really liking this app. Im able to reach 2 doctors in one app and things like appointments for both apps are updated immediately. Do note, app really is only as good as the efficiency of the provider. I sent a private message to my doctor and when I didnt hear anything in 2 days, I called the office. They were not used to checking for incoming messages on their EHR client. I reported a bug of duplication of my medication and after a few back and forth emails, they released an app update and my meds are no longer duplicated (each provider listed my meds on their system causing duplication in this app)

Extremely clunky .. Broken password validation

When first setting up an account the app asks for your original password and dob or phone number. Using a password database this process is literally impossible. I need to go back and forth between apps to generate an extremely secure password using LastPass. At the end of the three screen process the app says my randomly generated 18 character password with letters numbers and special characters is too weak. So I go try and figure out what its pattern is. Trouble is.. Each time I try I have to go back to the beginning. I still havent figured out the pattern it wants. So I gave up trying to use the app. What a terrible experience!

Doesnt connect to Apple Health

Super complicated interface that makes it hard to perform simple tasks. Doesnt have push notifications so dont know when you have messages etc to respond to. Worst of all, doesnt connect to Apple Health. Id give it 0 stars if I could.

Nothing says "I dont care...

...like an app that they dont even try to keep current." My physician isnt even listed, and this app is recommended by the portal I log into to access him!

Can’t get app so what is the use

I’ve tried for hours to download this app. From what others are saying it isn’t worth my time, why can’t doc just give me a piece of paper when I leave and I’ll go on my merry way.

Low quality app

Overall a low quality app thats not well made. Needs HealthKit integration.

Need support for iPhone 6 plus!

Pretty good app! Ive been using it for a good days and I havent come across any issues. Its a little buggy but nothing I cant handle.

Great idea but major flaw

This app is useful for appointments and records of medication. The problem is, I dont need it for that: I have plenty of reminder options (Wunderlist is wunderful), and an Evernote keeps my list of meds handy. What I needed this app for is doctor communication. My doctor routinely messages me after blood tests. The first time I read a message from him on healow, I had no idea what he was talking about: the lab data he was referencing had become jumbled and chopped out. I realize that this is probably a difficult thing to do in an app, but until I can see the lab results within the message, along with my doctors notes, the app is pretty much useless to me.

Good concept

Would love this app if it ever actually worked...

Personal data updates not syncing

I updated my e-mail on healow app and home address, after a six months of trying and sending them pics and details, explaining them from A to Z. Finaly when I tap pen/pencil option for updating personal info it reacts and gives you option to update your info, it was unfunctional and did not react when I taped when I first downloaded my app. Now, thats functioal finaly after six months. But there is still problem after updating my info on my iPhone5 app, I go for print outs to healow.com web site, then hit print icon, there I can see home address updated, but my e- mail is NOT updated. I am assuming there is syncing ERROR. Healow team, you need to fix personal info updating between iPhone app and Healow.com web site. I still have my old e-mail on healow.com web site print option showing old e-mail. Evrithing else was updated, but print out option still carries my old junk e-mail that does not exiat any more.

Not helpful or needed

Title says it all really. Records are unavailable, current labs etc unavailable. Not quite sure what the purpose of this app is. Deleted.

Useless

Doesnt work. Just keeps asking for my pin and then when I enter it brings up a blank scree snd just sits there doing nothing.

Terrible

Do not use this app! Most functions dont work. Messages dont transmit. Inaccurate medication information. Dangerous!
